Neighbors Tell Their Own Story

Neighbors Tell Their Own Story

Usually, I take this space to relate the story of a neighborhood, but in South Kensington (or Old Kensington) they are telling the story themselves.

South Kensington is a quickly developing neighborhood, due largely to its proximity to hotspots Northern Liberties and Fishtown, as well as its accessible transit and diversity.

Additionally, the arts have a strong foothold in the area, and neighbors are using their space to tell their story.  Over the course of three exhibitions from now through the fall, the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center will display photographs taken by local artists of places and people in the neighborhood.

You can read about the exhibit here:

And, as always, if you're thinking of making a move to this vibrant area - I'd love to hear from you!
